The opinion of the Petit Futé:
This Parisian brasserie on the banks of the Ill is a well known table for all Strasbourg, chic and friendly at the same time. Annie, the owner of the place is in the room, it was she who made the beautiful bouquets at the entrance. The wrought iron chandelier stands out, the walls have mirrors and old advertisements against a yellow background, and the table lamps give a warm atmosphere. In the plate, a truly consistent quality, with fresh products and good generous dishes. The suggestions always make you want them, whatever the season. On the menu: truffles, duck, lobster and salmon, including a tuna carpaccio with fried leeks and parmesan shavings which meets unanimous approval, and for which won’t give you the recipe! The efficient service (the same people have been working here for a long time) is ideal for business lunches. Parliamentarians have also made one of the tables their own. That said, the Pont des Vosges has enough romance for a dinner alone together.
